3T Biosciences is solving a major bottleneck in the field of immunotherapy – identifying novel targets that can be used to generate therapies to treat cancer in broad patient populations. We are developing transformative T cell receptor directed bispecific T cell engagers for cancer and other immune-related diseases. Our proprietary experimental and computational technology allows us to identify novel T cell receptor targets as well as clinical toxicities to develop safe and effective therapies.
We’re committed to making a difference for patients. Our ambitious, creative, and collaborative team makes 3T Biosciences the perfect engine to drive therapeutic solutions to reality. We’re looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated team-players to bring their talents to a fast-paced environment.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Lead and individually contribute to a data science team focusing on research, preclinical, and translational sciences
- Research areas: novel target discovery, immune repertoire analysis, machine-learning algorithms for protein-protein interactions through sequence-based data to assess TCR specificity/cross-reactivity
- Preclinical: Aid in the development of T cell engaging TCR mimic bispecifics towards novel targets through sequence-structure-function analyses
- Translational: Correlating patient responses based on patient and target biology
- Manage and develop internal workflows using multiple tools including AWS cloud-compute, version control in Git, and code repositories in Github
- Manage external collaborations focusing on target discovery
- Work cross-functionally with immunology and protein sciences/engineering teams
- Prepare and present updates on scientific findings to major stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s (with 10+ years of industry experience) or PhD degree (with 4+ years of industry experience) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology or quantitative field with management experience
- Experience in computational research, preclinical, and/or translational science supporting drug discovery programs, preferably in immuno-oncology
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g. R, python, command-line)
- Experience in machine-learned based tools for sequence and protein structure analysis
- Experience in dataset curation, integration, and management, ensuring reproducibility and data integrity
- Experience working with public biological databases (e.g., Ensembl, NCBI, UniProt, GEO, TCGA, IEDB)
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive strategic initiatives, and foster a high-performance culture through clear communication, accountability, and collaborative leadership
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex scientific findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
