3T Biosciences is an industry leader in TCR targeting and therapeutics discovery for the treatment of solid tumors and solving a major bottleneck in the field of immunotherapy – identifying novel targets. 3T’s novel 3T-TRACE platform is designed to overcome the challenges of advancing TCR-based therapeutics. We are developing transformative T cell receptor therapies for cancer and other immune-related diseases. Our proprietary experimental and computational technology allows us to identify novel T cell receptor targets as well as clinical toxicities to bring safe and effective therapies to patients in need of new treatment options.

Your Typical Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining primary human T cells and cell lines
  • Analyzing functional T cell reactivity (flow cytometry, ELISA, ELISPOT)
  • Enriching T cell populations with FACS and magnetic sorting
  • Performing single-cell sequencing on T cells of interest
  • Performing transfections and transductions on both primary cells and cell lines
  • Communicating results verbally, in writing, and in presentation format
  • Working and communicating effectively with others in the laboratory

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a biology-related field
  • 2+ years of related work experience
  • Mammalian cell culture experience
  • Molecular biology experience (PCR, DNA ligation, transformation, purification)
  • At least one college-level immunology course
  • Excellent written and verbal skills communicating research results, goals, progress and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work as a part of a team and communicate effectively and efficiently with others, both in your team and outside of it

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Gene-modification experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in functional assays with primary T cells or T cell lines
  • Flow cytometry experience
  • Experience using Asana and/or Benchling
