Position Specifics:

The RA/SRA/Scientist will be a key contributor to the development and execution of ongoing drug discovery projects. You will primarily be responsible for the development of immunological assays for preclinical discovery and development of novel TCR targeting molecules, from initial screening of lead candidates through preclinical proof-of-concept and on to IND enabling activities. The position will involve hands-on experimental cellular and molecular immunology and will require you to draw on diverse knowledge and experience to design and execute experiments in the laboratory setting.

  • Develop and execute biochemical and screening assays to identify and characterize drug candidates in our pipeline
  • Key contributor to the discovery research team, with broad responsibility helping us make novel discoveries to advance our pipeline assets
  • Identification and validation of cancer indications and contexts dependent on our drug targets to assist the clinical development of our programs
  • Use expertise to design, execute, and interpret data from experiments to support evaluation of biologic candidate ID and validation.
  • Use expertise to identify, develop, and troubleshoot novel immunoassays to support pipeline project needs.
  • Use technical ability and expertise to execute and troubleshoot flow cytometry, live cell imaging and MSD-based assays.
  • Prepare and clearly present summaries of results and ideas at internal and external meetings.
  • Work closely with our multi-disciplinary team of scientists in design and execution of experimental work to support team goals.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of projects and understanding of relevant literature to conduct experimental work.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of advancements in the field and new laboratory techniques and technologies
  • Maintain accurate, well-organized experimental records

  • BS/MS with 3-6 years industry experience in biologics drug development
  • Excellent technical cell and molecular biology skills (e.g. flow cytometry, imaging, cell culture, viability assays, reporter assays, etc)
  • Familiarity with T cell phenotyping, tumor immunology and cancer immunotherapy including cytotoxicity assays, proliferation, and cytokine/chemokine measurements
  • Extensive experience with flow cytometry and cell-based assays for immune cells
  • Experience with in vitro characterization of biologic drugs in an industry setting, required
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Proven ability to design research projects independently and provide thought-leadership
  • Ability to manage competing priorities or projects and meet deadlines
  • Ability to function independently and exercise good judgement, as well as work closely in cross-functional teams to support multiple pre-clinical stage programs
